Overview of Luna Bike
When it was launched the Kinetic Luna was one of the most appealing bikes of its generation. It had a very slim yet rugged body design like the Hero Puch moped. It came with exciting paint schemes and graphics to choose from. The chrome finish mudguards spoke wheels and rectangular shape headlamp gave it a very unique look.
The Kinetic Luna Bike was equipped with a 59.57cc single-cylinder engine. The compression ratio of the engine was 8.8:1 and it was mated to an automatic gearbox. It uses a wire mesh air cleaner and the weight of the engine is only 12.5 kg. There is also a variant of Luna that was offered with 49.8cc engine.
In terms of power and performance, the Kinetic Luna Bike is capable of producing 2.94 HP of maximum power at 6,000 RPM and 4.2 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 RPM. The power and a torque figure of the Kinetic Luna were capable to perform the daily task easily. It was also used to carry heavy luggage and it always took care of that as well.
The Kinetic Luna Bike used telescopic front forks and dual hydraulic rear shock absorbers. Braking duties were taken care of by drum brakes at both the front and rear wheel. It came with a very comfortable seat and it also had a provision to carry luggage at the rear as well as between the seat and handle.
It had a rectangular-shaped halogen headlamp and taillamps. The Kinetic Luna use to run on 2.5″ wide tyres and it was equipped with spoke wheel rims. It had a wheelbase of 1130mm and it offered a ground clearance of 120mm. It was capable of carrying load up to 184 Kg making it a great choice for small traders.

The Kinetic Luna Bike price in India was Rs 14,000 when it was last available in the Indian market. It has been discontinued a long ago by the brand in India.
