It is powered by a 134.7cc single-cylinder, SOHC, 4-stroke engine that is oil-cooled and fuel-injected. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and it runs on a compression ratio of 9.8:1. The Benelli TNT 135 makes 11.3 HP of maximum power at 8,500 RPM and 10 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 RPM.
It is based on a steel trellis frame like its bigger sibling the Benelli TNT 150. This is equipped with 41 mm inverted front forks and a laterally mounted mono-shock suspension.
