KTM RC 890 Overview
The upcoming RC 890 is going to be the first supersport bike for KTM in this segment and its design will be inspired by its bigger sibling the RC8R. This new supersport will be powered by an 889cc, 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, 8-valves engine that will make be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It will be able to make 119 HP of max power and 99 Nm of peak torque. KTM RC 890 will be equipped with an extensive suite of riding aids and electronics.
The RC 890 will be fitted with 43 mm WP USD front forks and a WP Apex rear mono-shock. It will be based on a split trellis frame like the smaller KTM RC 250 & RC 390. It will be equipped with dual 320 mm Brembo calliper disc brakes at the front wheel and a single 240 mm Brembo calliper disc brake at the rear wheel. KTM RC 890 will feature a full LED headlamp and a fully digital TFT instrument console.
KTM RC 890 Price in India and Launch Date
As per the media reports, the RC 890 is still under development and the brand has not confirmed any official launch dates. However, we expect it to be revealed in future auto shows. The KTM RC 890 price in India will be nearly Rs 11,00,000. In this price range, it will compete with ZX-6R in the Indian market.
