The Mazda Furai comes with an aggressive and futuristic looking design and it is one of the best-looking concept cars. It is fitted with a 2.0L naturally aspirated rotary engine that is coupled to a 6-speed semi-automatic transmission. It churns out nearly 650 HP of max power and 377 Nm of peak torque. The insane power to weight ratio of the Mazda Furai allowed it to accelerate from 0-100 kmph under 3 seconds and it had a top speed of nearly 290 km/h.
It is built around a lightweight chassis and its kerb weight is only 675 kg. This concept car used high-performance front and rear suspension made by Sachs and Eibach. The braking duties are taken care of by powerful Brembo calliper disc brakes on all four wheels. The Mazda Furai features 14-inch aluminium centre-lock wheels and it runs on specially tailor-made tyres developed by Mazda and Kumho. The concept version came with full LED lighting and boasted racing seats with Sparco seatbelts.
