The Apache 150 was launched by TVS back in 2006, It was the first sports bike from the Apache series. It had a very sleek and stylish design that made it among the best looking 150cc bikes in those days. The Sporty design of the Apache was loved by Indian buyers.
The engine of the TVS Apache 150 was derived from Fiero, But it went through major improvements that resulted in increased power and torque. Apache 147.5cc engine was capable of producing 13.7 HP of max power at 8,500 RPM and 12.3 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 RPM.
The engine was mated to a 5-speed gearbox and the Apache 150 was capable of reaching a top speed of 110 KMPH. It was equipped with a 240mm disc brake at the front wheel and a 130mm drum brake at the rear wheel. The suspension duties on the TVS Apache 150 were taken care of by a telescopic front fork and dual rear shock absorbers.
It was a very lightweight bike, the TVS Apache 150 weighed only 136KG. It offered a fuel tank of 16 litres, which was the largest among the 150cc bikes in India. The Apache had a fully analogue instrument cluster, which showed most of the important information. It also had an electric starter and engine kill switch.

When the TVS Apache 150 was available, it uses to compete with the Bajaj Pulsar 150, Hero CBZ, Hero Hunk and Yamaha FZ.
